Fornax AI (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
When you register for Fornax AI, we collect your full name, email address, company name, and country. We also generate and store a cryptographic API key linked to your account. We do not collect or store inference prompts or model outputs — all data stays within your private network.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provision and manage your API credentials, (b) provide customer support, (c) send essential service notices, and (d) monitor usage for rate limiting and billing. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on self-hosted PostgreSQL databases within Tanzania. We use 256-bit AES encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. API keys are hashed using bcrypt before storage. Our infrastructure follows SOC-2 ready security practices.
4. Data Residency
Your data is processed and stored exclusively within Tanzanian infrastructure. No personal or business data is transferred to cloud providers outside of Tanzania without your explicit written consent.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not share your data with third-party analytics, advertising, or data broker services. The only third-party integrations are essential infrastructure providers (DNS, email delivery) who process minimal data under strict contractual obligations.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. You may export your usage logs before deletion.
7. Cookies
Fornax AI uses only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or any form of cross-site tracking.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted on this page with an updated effective date.
